Dear Engl 217,

This has been a hectic week. I had a million assignments due and two midterms. Guess what? I got a 100 on my math test, again! I was so happy. Hopefully I can keep this streak going and secure a 4.0 GPA. I also had a music midterm and I had to write an analysis paper about a concert. I wrote about Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour and drew parallels to the Middle Ages and Renaissance music we explored in class. I was quite proud of the 5 pages I turned in. Hopefully, I get an A grade on it. On a not so exciting note, I tested positive for Covid. I haven’t hung out with anyone and I don’t how I got infected. As of right now, my symptoms aren’t too bad. I just don’t have a sense of smell but other than that I am good. My doctor has mandated me to a 2 week quarantine and then get tested again. At least this is spring break and I have time to rest. I shall keep you updated about that.

In English, our first draft of the Memo was due on Monday. I think we turned in a solid draft but there are still improvements to be made. This weekend my teammates and I are going to work on polishing our draft and turn in a stellar final draft on Monday. The Summary and Proposal parts are fine. We have to revise our Discussion and Recommendation parts. I wish to finish this by Sunday so that everyone can go about their spring break from Monday.
