Dear Engl 217,

This week has been rather intense. It started out pretty great. I got a 91 on my Physics test which I was extremely happy about. Physics is the hardest class I have this semester and by the look of it, I can surely end the class with a A grade. I also got my first shot of the Covid vaccine. I had a slight arm ache but other than I feel fine. A lot of personal issues piled up in the last few days and I have been feeling pretty frustrated. It feels like this pandemic will never end and I will be stuck living the same day everyday. Although I have grown found of remote learning (I like doing things on my own schedule), I seriously want to start meet new people and make friends. Hopefully, I have in-person classes and I will be able to meet my peers and make friends. I finally finished reading The Song of Achilles. I cried at the end because of its bittersweet ending. I started reading The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri.

The entire class has been working on the Lab Report due for English. I was very concerned about my abstract and the ability to integrate sources, so I attended a writing center workshop to have someone go over my first draft. I got a lot of insightful suggestions and I am going to spend this weekend perfecting my work and turning in a very nice lab report on Covid-19.

See you next week,

Teju
